Ajman University of Science & Technology

Ajman University of Science & Technology (AUST) was established in 1988 and Faculty of Engineering is one of the nine faculties at AUST. Six majors in engineering are currently being offered. Please visit the university website for more details www.ajman.ac.ae

The IEEE SB was formed by 20 female electrical engineering students, in September 2005. In not more than 6 months, the strength increased to 108 members, of which over 50 members are female.

AUST IEEE SB is one of the most active branches in UAE. The members are actively involved in organizing and paricipating in local and International events.

What is IEEE

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the largest professional organization worldwide. Its headquarter is in the USA but it has official IEEE Student Branches in various universities all over the world. The IEEE Student Branch in the Faculty of Engineering at Ajman University of Science & Technology (AUST) is one of these official branches.
